Fall 2011 Sermon Series

What does it take to build a house?  A strong foundation.  A solid structure.  Good materials.  An experienced and knowledgeable architect.  And don't forget a whole gang of laborers who put the plan into action.

What about when the house is God's dwelling place?  What is required to build the church?  Turns out, the same things are needed.

As we move into the Fall and an important time of transition and growth for our own church, it is timely and apropos to look to the Book of Acts to understand the plan and, more importantly, the Architect, that is the foundation of the church.  God has called us to be his chosen people, his holy dwelling place.  But, how does this essential identity direct, constrain, and empower the church?  How did the early church respond to challenges to this identity?  And how do the same lessons continue to instruct us today?

Please join us on Sundays @ 12:15pm as we explore the Book of Acts!
